A society is a rose plant. A rose plant with all its flowers, buds, leaves, stem, roots. Consider
the abnormalities(extra ordianries) in a society as analogical to the plant's thorns, leaves, etc. Abnormalities are not only thorns but also cover the roots, stem, even the branches.
A rose plants purpose is not to give us the rose. Its purpose is to live. But it has an agenda of producing a beautiful rose flower and protect it to attract other living beings for reasons we (i) dont know(The flower must had a reproductive or seductive purpose which might have been evolved).For time lets just consider it has an objective to produce and protect a flower. For that purpose it needs roots to absorb the water & minerals, leaves to harvest energy, stems for circulation.A society can be figured to be operating on same model.
The crimes(or the negative abnormalities) in a society are all its own experiments. In rose plants terms its similar to growing its roots, buds, leaves and thorns(which only we consider crime if it affects the plant itself).
So as a rose plant knows when to hinder the growth of a particular thorn, a society by its collective brain knows(decides) when to terminate a particular abnormal activity.
By assuming this we come to another conclusion that a society in term is a collective brain. Confused? Assume a society as a whole brain and each brain in the society as a single cell of the big brain. Each cell is connected with its adjacent cell, of course we are connected to each and every brain here by some means(telepathy, but thats not the only one).
Each and every cell(brain) specialize in something. Some in arts, admin, travel, dwelling, eating... Some of these cells even destroy themselves or destroyed by the brain(criminals for ex) so that it could benefit from that.
So as for now we know society as a self sustained plant experimenting its own way of growth. But what this growth is meant for? Whats the objective? What are we here for?
As for i know, we are here to enjoy a good life and cherish our collective brain.
